A fascinating look at air travel in 1956. From international passenger journeys to the moving of goods and services with a few behind the scenes glimpses of technical aspects of flight, this short film is still enjoyable and surprisingly relevant today.

Terry O'Rourke, an American operating a small airline in Canada, is having a tough time making a go of it; he has to cope with unfavorable weather conditions, a rocky terrain, and a large Americam company determined to buy him out at their low price. In addition, one of his primary employees is working against him. One of his airplanes is transporting a cargo of gold and the pilot arranges for the gold to be stolen. He planned to parachute to safety, letting the airplane be looted when it crashed, but a co-worker cuts his parachute cord and he is killed. O'Rourke, with the air of one of his best pilots, Kay Cameron, sets out to track down the culprits.

In a small town in the province of Naples, in 1962, Batino, the eldest son of a goat farmer, challenges Dr. La Rocca, a corrupt politician and wheeler-dealer, who had promised him a job in exchange for a bribe and then disappeared without keeping his word.

In 1950s Copenhagen, Jens is a law student with a part-time job in a law firm. He lives at home and is more or less engaged to Lis. Jens' life is very regular and organized until he meets slightly older Erhard, a head clerk at the firm. Erhard lures Jens into the mysterious city nightlife, and from now on, Jens' life changes. The engagement is broken off and his education is neglected.

After a traumatic event, two neighbors come together in a community of contiguous houses, which creeps into nature’s threshold, to celebrate freedom. An ecosystem simultaneously in decay and growth opens up to the observation and construction of the facets of a suburban neighborhood in Southern California. The connections between landscape, neighbors, and environment ruminate on the American dream and its resonances.
